MTIE operates two Innu schools serving roughly 700 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Education that honours Innu language, land, and culture

Our schools weave Innu-aimun, traditional knowledge, and land-based learning into every grade. From the craft of Innu tea dolls to caribou-hide work and time spent on Nitassinan, students learn their heritage alongside the full K–12 curriculum.
